Time remaining in the voting period has disappeared.

I was wondering why there's no more countdown in today's voting period. Do we still get another chance to vote again after midnight Eastern? Or does today's vote count for tomorrow as well? I'm a little confused!

  Thanks for writing. Yes, you can vote again after midnight EST tonight. Public voting is open until 5pm EDT tomorrow, Sept. 12.

  Is there any way that the countdown for each voting period can made visible again? I know a lot of my voters use that information to make sure they get their vote in on time (I'm on the west coast).

  Hi Ioana,

  There's a banner at the top of the homepage that gives the countdown. It currently says 6 hours left to vote.
