Is it allowed to vote twice with different emails?
Hello,
I just saw this thread on a web forum http://forums.crackberry.com/general-discussion-f2/blackberry-10-taab-our-experiences-740344/index4.html
Where people admit to voting several times for taabs app, signing up with different email addresses, etc. to vote for it.
Isn't that against the spirit, if not the rules of the competition?

I saw that too. Thankfully, someone else in the community responded and told then it was against the rules. Many people have asked me that, and I've vehemently told then not to, since it breaks the rules, jeopardizes my entry, and is against the spirit of the competition. I've said many times that I want to win fairly, if I do.
I can't control everyone though, just do my best to educate them. Hopefully ChallengePost will remove the extraneous votes.
I apologize on behalf of my supporters.

I was reading that thread and saw that it was just one person who said they registered twice - and who was quickly told that by the community that was not OK.
That's not the "Where people admit to voting several times for taabs app, signing up with different email addresses, etc. to vote for it." that Victor S stated, it was one person.
Any other mention of voting more than once was in reference to the 'vote every day' structure of the contest.

Hi Victor, Xitij, and Marc,
Thanks for writing. Any attempt to circumvent the one-vote limit per Submission per day, including the use of multiple email addresses or any form of automated vote processes is against the rules.
It is not against the rules for an individual user to vote daily as long as they follow the one-vote limit per Submission per day.
After public voting ends, all votes will be verified before determining the Popular Choice Award winner.
Best,
Marny

Hi Aaron,
Thank you for telling us. We will not be counting the votes from your second email account.

We've been experiences similar issues with some voters and have publicly stated again and again that this is against the competition rules and not how we would want to win.
Good job everyone! The craziness is just about over!
