Is this Mondex II?

Is Mintchip a renewed form of Mondex from Dr David Everett?

    I do understand that David Everett did design Mintchip and it looks and feels exactly like Mondex. Has anybody with real Mondex deployment experience who really understood Mondex looked at Mintchip to see if it has the same intrinsic design challenges?
