Browser only solutions?

Are there any examples of browser-only solutions? No plugins or browser dependencies?

My application has javascript/html/css on the front end and a python application running on a backend linux box. I'm having a hard time finding the required path/components here.

I don't want to care about what platform the users browser runs on.
